Customs and Documentation Services Accurate documentation is necessary for shipping cargo. At Machado & Sons Agents & Stevedores Pvt. Ltd. we are familiar with all export regulations and process the shipping documentation of companies at a short turn-around time. We provide services such as customs clearance of shipments and issuance of freight cargo documentation to our clients. Stevedoring Ships make money for their owners when they are laden and at sea. We ensure that the ships turnaround is fast to cut costs for both charterers and owners. Machado & Sons Agents & Stevedores Pvt. Ltd. currently operate with a well staffed facility, handling an annual average of 8 million tons. We provide the traditional services of stevedoring i.e. loading and unloading ship cargo and provide intermodal cargo handling services, namely transferring vessel borne cargo to railroads and trucks. Based on vessel gear and cargo consignments we average 12 - 20 thousand tons per day loading / discharge both at berth and outer anchorage. The equipment deployed by us, like, grabs, poppers, pay loaders, high piling excavators etc. help us in achieving high outputs. Warehousing Warehousing is a crucial part of the supply chain. Ltd. and offers warehousing services for a wide range of products, from food products to pharma to IT, in the small state of Goa. The Warehouse Company services includes providing warehousing space, climate controlled storage, cold room, logistics support, materials management, collection and forwarding operations & distribution, insurance, material handling and storage, racking solutions, air conditioned transportation, warehouse design/layout and warehouse space optimization. Contract Mining Mining is an important industry in Goa and has a significant contribution to the state’s economy. Mining is an investment intensive activity and we from Machado & Sons Agents & Stevedores Pvt. Ltd. assist mining lease holders to explore their land on a contract basis by bringing in equipment, logistics personnel and supervise operations and maintenance. In accordance with mining laws and regulations we undertake the work of drilling, blasting, overburden removal, extraction of the run of mine (R.O.M.) ore and transportation to the beneficiation plant. Our annual operation involves a total handling of 2 - 2.5 million tons of Rejections and R.O.M. Ore Key equipments deployed include 20 and 30 ton class excavators, 20/10 ton dumpers as well as pay loaders and tractor dozers for levelling and maintenance of roads and dumps. Our employees are well trained and we accord uttermost important to safety. We are working principally for Sociedade de Fomento Industrial (SFI) at their N.S.Narvekar Concession.
